The Natural Systems Enhancement & Stewardship (NSES) Department is seeking an Operations Coordinator. This position performs a wide variety of functions to support planning, delivery and stewardship of natural system projects and programs for the Natural Systems Enhancement & Stewardship (NSES) Department. Assists with planning, tracking, and reporting on project or department expenses and budgets, coordinating projects, organization, communication, and efficient operations.

1. Acts as system superuser for business systems, such as Terratrak, Prosight, SharePoint, Asana, and Oracle. Audits and maintains the accuracy of databases through updates; inputs, imports, and integrates data from other sources (e.g., GIS, Access); develops technical reports; sets up user accounts; and provides training to users.
2. Reads and interprets GIS mapping, research plats, easements, and tax lot ownership issues. Supports staff in securing access agreements by maintaining templates, preparing and filing Permits of Entry, Grants of Rights, Stewardship Agreements, and easements.
3. Coordinates and facilitates efficient scheduling of team project activities, grant reporting, department meetings, functions, and events.
4. Serves as a liaison with business services, procurement, legal, field operations, fleet, safety, other internal work groups, and stakeholders to facilitate project and program execution, responds to information requests, and provides customer service.
5. Assists NSES staff by tracking project and program schedules, action items from department meetings, and participates in project teams and NSES initiatives.
6. Maintains a positive, equitable, and inclusive workplace culture to improve the understanding and recognition of diversity and foster multidisciplinary and integrated team approaches.
7. Assists with training and mentoring and acts as a technical resource for the NSES team.
8. Drives a CWS or personal vehicle for work related purposes.
The following are the minimum qualifications for this position.
2 years of experience assisting with project or program coordination, data management, and use of computer software;
College-level coursework or specialized training in business administration, data management, environmental science, or a related field.
