JOB OVERVIEW

The Lube Technician at Powerline Plus Ltd. is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance and light service work. This role works closely with mechanics, apprentices, the Shop Foreman, departmental managers, and the Mechanic Shop Supervisor to ensure fleet vehicles and equipment are maintained to company standards.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Lube Technician role includes but not limited to the following duties:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

- Completion of secondary school

- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience

- Valid G Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract; DZ license or higher is considered an asset

- Physically capable of meeting job requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, kneeling, and safely climbing ladders

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Lube Technician’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Performing oil checks and oil changes on automotive vehicles and heavy-duty trucks.

- Conducting routine vehicle inspections, including tire pressure and fluid level checks

- Replenishing vehicle fluids and lubricating joints and fittings as required

- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and adherence to company vehicle standards

- Assisting with basic preventive maintenance tasks as assigned
