AmPro Production Fire & Safety is currently looking for H2S safety techs for our West Texas Division. We offer Health, Dental & Vision insurance as well as company vehicle.

Position Summary

Safety Technician main role is to ensure that crews working in and around oil & gas sites are provided with the necessary services and equipment to work safely where the threat of hazardous gases could be present. They install breathing air and gas detection systems, provide lease control and training to production, drilling and service personnel on emergency response procedures. On the job field training is provided.

Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Able to work long hours in outdoor elements.

- Able to keep accurate documentation.

- Must be able to work unsupervised for long periods of time, as well as have strong interpersonal skills.

- Oil & Gas background preferred.

- Clean driving record and be comfortable driving on rough/ poor roads (company vehicle).

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

- Must be able to work safely and follow all Company and

Customer policies and procedures.

- Performs other functions and may cross-train as part of training and development.

- Maintains work area and other areas in a clean and orderly condition.

- Assist others as needed.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED. Experience: Minimum of 6 months’ experience in the oil & gas industry preferred Required Licenses or Specific Training: Class C, H2S, SAFE LAND,

Medic First Aid CPR, Confined Space, Hot Work
