Office Runner & Maintenance Assistant

The Runner & Maintenance Assistant supports solar installation operations by handling errands, material deliveries, and general maintenance tasks. This role ensures that the yard, warehouse, and vehicles remain clean, organized, and ready for daily use. The position requires dependability, physical stamina, strong work ethic, and safe driving habits to support the efficiency of solar project teams.

Responsibilities:

- Pick up and deliver materials, tools, and equipment between job sites, vendors, and the warehouse.

- Safely operate company vehicles and follow all driving and safety procedures.

- Assist with loading and unloading panels, racking, and other installation materials

- Support general maintenance tasks, sweeping, and trash removal..

- Maintain yard, warehouse, and work areas in clean, safe, and organized condition.

- Dispose of construction debris and recycle materials as needed.

- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of company vehicles and tools.

- Support installation teams with material preparation or errands as directed.

- Follow all company safety procedures.

- Report maintenance needs, damages, or missing tools/equipment to supervisor promptly.

- Perform other duties as assigned to support daily solar operations.

Requirements:

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required).

- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more.

- Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented.

- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

- Prior experience in warehouse, construction, or maintenance preferred.

- Perform other duties as assigned to support operations.

- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Prior experience in general labor, warehouse, or maintenance work preferred.

- High School Degree

Schedule:

· Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift; 9am-6pm
