Office Administrator

Company Overview

JW Metal Cabinets is a fast-growing manufacturer of premium stainless steel cabinetry and metal products. We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented individual to oversee daily shipping operations in a hands-on capacity. This role plays a key part in ensuring products are crated, loaded, and delivered safely and efficiently.

Key ResponsibilitiesShipping & Logistics Coordination

- Work closely with the Sales Team, Shipping Department, and customers to schedule freight pickups and deliveries.

- Prepare and organize all shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), commercial invoices, and packing lists.

- Coordinate truck pickups, LTL shipments, USPS shipments, and other carrier logistics.

- Monitor shipment status and send tracking information to customers.

- Communicate shipment availability, release dates, and any delays proactively.

Order Processing & Documentation

- Enter new orders into our point-of-sale system accurately and in a timely manner.

- Print job paperwork, labels, and documentation required for production and shipping.

- Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing for orders, shipping paperwork, and customer correspondence.

Administrative & Office Support

- Perform data entry into spreadsheets, logs, and internal trackers.

- Prepare sample materials for the Sales Team and arrange shipment as needed.

- Handle USPS shipping and prepare small packages for outgoing orders.

- Assist with general office tasks, including office supply management, answering phones, and providing support to internal departments.

Qualifications

- Prior office administration, logistics, or order-processing experience preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced production environment.

- Proficient with basic computer skills (data entry, spreadsheets, email).

- Experience with POS systems or ERP order entry is a plus (training provided).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
