Candidate must live in or near Pittsburgh, PA

Steel City NDT LLC, based out of Pittsburgh, PA, is looking for an as-needed, part time Level II NDT Inspector. Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle (MT), Dye Penetrant (PT), Visual (VT) certifications required. Steel City NDT LLC will not pay for relocation costs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform NDT inspections on an as-needed basis.

- Read and comprehend drawings, designs, and specifications for parts to be inspected

- Determine equipment required for inspections

- Analyze and interpret indications of flaws, defects, and discontinuities

- Record inspection results manually later to be entered into a report

- Accept or Reject test objects based on a specific standard or specification

- Create and sign off on reports based on inspection results

Required Education/Experience/Documentation:

- High school diploma or GED is required

- Valid and up to date NDT certification is required

- Verifiable experience is required, along with copies of certifications

- Must have valid driver’s license along with working vehicle to travel to job sites

- Must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills

- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Mainly Word and Excel)

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
