Molding/Machine Operator - 1st and 2nd Shift

Molded Dimensions Group, located in Port Washington, WI is a leader in custom molding solutions, providing high-quality, precision-engineered parts. We are seeking skilled and reliable Molding Machine Operators to join our Rubber division on 1st and 2nd Shift.

The successful candidate will operate and maintain a molding machine, monitor production processes, and ensure that products meet quality standards. If you are detail-oriented, have machine operation experience and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, this role could be an excellent fit for you ~ experience in injection molding a plus, but we are willing to train!

1st Shift hours: 5am - 1pm Mon-Fri

2nd Shift hours: 1pm-9pm Mon-Fri

Key Responsibilities:

- Setup and operate an injection molding machine according to company standards and safety guidelines.

- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions, ensuring parts meet quality specifications.

- Position and secure inserts and load rubber into machine

- Remove finished products from machine using hand tools, air hoses and other equipment.

- Perform finishing work on molded product, including manual clipping, trimming, sorting and assembly of parts produced.

- Conduct quality checks on parts and complete documentation as required.

- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure efficiency.

- Collaborate with team members and shift leads to meet production targets.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience as a machine operator, preferably in a molding environment.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
