BLANCO Canada currently has multiple Moulding Machine Operator openings in our manufacturing facility. Positions are full-time (40 hours per week) with potential for permanent placement in a unionized environment with a competitive base wage starting at $23.91/hour, which increases to $28.63 after the first 6 months. Current availability on Afternoon Shift (3pm - 11pm)

Responsibilities:

- Safe and quality production of moulded raw sinks in accordance with the daily production plan.

- Operate moulding equipment by following established process.

- Ensure the quality of the product meets or exceeds the Blanco quality standard, minimizing rejects by performing sink inspection throughout the shift.

- Follow established bar-coding procedure for reporting, labeling, and handling of all sinks.

- Ensure compliance with Waste Disposal Procedure.

- Ability to work safely in fast-paced environment

- Communicate production issues/concerns with lead-hands/shift supervisors.

- Follow Safe Work Instructions and work in accordance with established plant safety rules, including wearing approved personal protective equipment.

Qualifications:

- 1-5 years of experience in Manufacturing industry with machine operation

- Capable of physical activities such as standing for long duration, bending down, pulling and pushing and able to lift up to 50 lbs

- Comfortable working in an environment with chemical scents

- Motivation to meet or exceed production standards

- Preferred experience with injection moulding equipment

- Reliable, consistent attendance, punctual and dependable

- Preferred relevant post-secondary education

- Able to read, write and speak English
