We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Lévis, Québec on the evening shift from monday to thursday, 2:30pm to 1:00am. Under the supervision of the Team Leader, the Mobile Equipment Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling various types of equipment while providing regular updates to their supervisor.
- Perform preventive, general, and periodic maintenance on engins such as excavators and forklifts
- Diagnose reported issues and determine their causes
- Carry out minor and major repairs on vehicles, including:
- Engines
- Hydraulic systems
- Pneumatic systems
- Braking and steering systems
- Electrical and electronic circuits and networks, as well as transmission components
- Complete work orders and inspection sheets, detailing the tasks performed
- Ensure proper use and functioning of company equipment
- Notify the immediate supervisor of any unplanned actions required, detected issues, or time overruns
- Keep the work area clean and safe
- Work safely and in compliance with the company’s health and safety policies and procedures
- Perform any other related duties as required
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in construction machinery mechanics or equivalent training, with skills in electricity, hydraulics, diesel engines, transmissions and welding.
- Minimum of three years' experience as a construction mechanic, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid class 5 driver's license (mandatory).
- Possession of a complete toolbox (imperial and metric systems).
- Proven ability to work independently and proactively solve problems.
- Versatility, rigor and attention to detail.
- Sense of initiative and autonomy in task management.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanics and new technologies
- Permanent, full time position
- Evening schedule: Monday to Thursday from 2:30 pm to 1:00 am
- Evening premium
