The Central South Carpenters Regional Council (CSCRC) is a non-partisan organization that represents 10,000+ members in 21 local unions (15 construction and 6 industrial) within Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Texas who are committed to the United Brotherhood of Carpenters’ (UBC) goal of reaching 70% market share through organizing and other strategies. We negotiate and enforce complex agreements that ensure good working conditions, fair wages, and secure health-care and retirement benefits.

Job Description:

The Member Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and positive member experiences. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a proactive approach to assisting members and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Greet and assist members, directing them as needed and answering inquiries.

•

Manage incoming phone calls, providing helpful and timely responses.

•

Process and post payments accurately.

•

Oversee job dispatch and work referrals.

•

Maintain and update spreadsheets with relevant data.

•

Assist with the initiation of new members and reactivation of former members.

•

Stay one evening per month (third Tuesday) until 7 PM for the General Membership Meeting.

•

Monitor arrears daily, conduct outreach, and document communications.

•

Handle incoming mail and ensure proper distribution to departments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

•

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

•

Fluency in both English and Spanish

•

Attention to detail and proficiency in data entry.

•

Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

•

Familiarity with payment processing and member coordination is preferred.

•

Basic knowledge of spreadsheets and administrative tasks.

We're offering a starting salary of $32,500 plus benefits (Health, Pension, and Defined Contribution). After the 180-day probation period, the salary increases to $38,500.
