Mechanical Estimation Engineer

Position:

Estimating Engineer I or II

Reports To:

Estimating Supervisor

Basic Functions:

Prepare technical bids for heat exchangers and pressure vessels.

Major Duties:

Basic design of pressure vessels and heat exchangers.

Prepare material requirements for each component designed.

Estimate labor hours to fabricate the component/vessel/exchanger.

Write technical proposal for submittal to customer.

Qualifications:

Knowledge –

Bachelor’s degree of Science in Engineering.

Skills –

Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications.

Exceptional communication skills, including technical writing.

Must be consistent in thought processes and work methodology
