Mechanical Engineer

Role Description

This is a full time role located in Sherwood Park, AB. We are looking for a energetic engineer experienced in piping design, modifications, tie-ins & valve systems. Proven track record of delivery of engineering design, execution and control on Hot Tap and other in service piping and pressure projects. This role will primarily be office based with field or client visits as needed to support your portfolio of projects.

Qualifications

- Professional Engineer (P.Eng)

- Demonstrated leadership with experience in leading projects.

- Strong knowledge of weld design for structural and pressure procedures (WPS) & (PQR)

- Preference for clients with project support or management of tie in scopes of work.

Role & Responsibilities

- Perform duties as a Responsible Member for Engineering Permit to Practice

- Prepare and communicate with applicable governing or regulatory bodies to ensure program or project compliance

- Ensure completeness of all records, including professional authentication of engineering products as required.

Compensation

- $130,000-$156,000
