Welspun Tubular is expanding to add new facilities for pipe manufacturing in the Little Rock, AR area!!! This has been an exciting time for us and was recognized on local media recently. We are now looking for qualified candidates to work on the HFiW Project for the construction and engineering of the new facility.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Purpose:

To provide design & engineering support to project & operation of pipe division to meet organizational requirement for

1. Green-field projects, 2. Brown field projects, 3. De-bottlenecking & Upgrading existing facilities, 4. Operational & maintenance engineering support.

Key Responsibilities:

# New Plant proposal layouts preparation & submission for review / approval.

# Preparation building / shed drawing, trench layout as plant specification.

# Checking all equipment's in plant layout as per function and operation sequence.

# Preparation of equipment foundation drawings / Layouts.

# Preparation of material handling equipment drawings.

# Design & Engineering of new equipment as per provided concept.

# Preparation of equipment installation and erection drawing. .

# Piping & Utility layouts preparation with detail engineering.

# working as per activity Planning & Scheduling to meet Project targets.

# Selection of BOC.

# Machine modification/Up gradation as per operation/maintenance requirement

# Design Calculation, 3D Model Preparation, FEA & Optimization of critical components / sub assembly /

assembly.

# New technology introduce in machinery design / Up gradation.

# To organize review meeting for drawing review with concern department.

# Checking & Releasing of drawings for manufacturing.

# Inspection of Equipment's foundaton

# Checking of supplier drawings & arrange to approval from design Head.

# Documentation & Control of drawings

Education:

Associate Degree / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Software skills : AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Solid Edge, Solid works

Relevant Experience:

Overall at least 2-3 years of experience with preparation of manufacturing drawing of machines/equipment, special purpose machine, Machine tools, Material Handling Equipment's, Industrial precision machinery, Steel / Pipe machine manufacturing, Industrial gearbox manufacturing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
