Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

We are a custom metal fabrication shop specializing in all things metal. Along with our metal fabrication services, we offer machining and assembly services. We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team. A "Mechanical Engineer" will be responsible for responding to emails, taking orders, designing with CAD, & overseeing your projects. Ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Duties

- Utilize 3D CAD software to design and engineer projects. 3D CAD experience is required

- Work with customers 1 on 1 to provide engineering and pricing

- Facilitate orders; these will be from the quotes you have sent

- Manage project schedules and deadlines

- Read and interpret blueprints for project planning

Qualifications

- Proficient with 3D modeling software; Onshape, Inventor, Solid Works, Etc...

- Strong understanding of metals and their properties

- Excellent project coordination skills

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour

Education:

- High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

- engineering: 3 years (Required)

- Fabrication: 2 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Wabash, IN 46992: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
