We’re looking for a detail-driven Materials Technician (Receiving) to keep operations running smoothly.
The Materials Technician (Receiving) supports the efficient flow of materials into and within the facility. This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and accurately recording incoming materials, maintaining organized inventory, and supporting internal teams in locating required items. The position also assists with outbound shipments and helps ensure inventory accuracy within the material management system.

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders
- Accurately enter receiving data into the inventory management system in a timely manner
- Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock level monitoring
- Safely load, unload, and move materials using appropriate equipment
- Store materials in designated locations or project bins
- Label materials clearly for job, project, or sales requirements
- Pick and stage materials for production and customer orders
- Assist in kitting materials for production needs
- Assist with shipping materials to vendors, customers, or other locations as required
- Coordinate returns and ensure proper documentation is completed
- Track deliveries to confirm orders are received as expected
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support internal teams in locating required materials
- Perform other duties as required
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations preferred
- Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment
- Experience using inventory management systems
- Experience handling steel, pipe, or industrial materials is an asset
- Background in manufacturing, electrical, instrumentation, or oil and gas environments is an asset
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Work performed in a warehouse/shop environment with exposure to noise and varying temperatures
