Marketing Assistant

At NM Group, we work with clients across both nonprofit and for-profit sectors to grow their presence and expand into new markets. Over the last five years, we’ve partnered with organizations in Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Dallas—and now, we’re growing our New York City team.

As an Account Manager, you’ll be the face of our clients, creating engaging experiences that leave a lasting impact. We provide hands-on training and support so you’ll have all the tools you need to succeed, whether you’re new to the field or looking to sharpen your skills.

What You’ll Do

- Represent clients through face-to-face interactions with customers and the public

- Deliver clear, engaging presentations about products, services, and causes

- Build strong product knowledge to confidently answer questions

- Gather and report customer feedback to improve campaigns

- Accurately track and input daily performance metrics

- Travel to new markets for expansion opportunities

- Collaborate with partner offices to share strategies and best practices

What We’re Looking For

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Team-oriented mindset (work closely with groups of 3–10)

- Professionalism and reliability at events and in the office

- Organizational skills and attention to detail

- 1–2 years of customer service, sales, or marketing experience (preferred but not required)

- Bachelors Degree

- MBA

(preferred but not required)

- A natural leader—or the drive to grow into one
