UDC is seeking a full-time Marketing Associate
to support the UDC marketing team by collaborating on various marketing activities and provide administrative support.
This is a hybrid role, reporting to and working out of our UDC Waukesha office.
Essential duties include creating marketing materials, providing graphic design and video editing support, assisting with marketing event coordination, file organization, and marketing trend research, analysis, and reporting. The Marketing Associate may work with account and business development managers to complete sales-related tasks or collaborate with other UDC departments to build branded presentations.
- Supports the development and curation of internal UDC Project Profiles, which serve as a primary basis for content generation.
- Supports CRM campaign list(s) development, tagging, and curation.
- Assist in internal and external presentation creation, layout/design, editing, and curation.
- Assist UDC team members with creating new web content and sourcing/developing graphics, imagery, and videos.
- Helps ensure marketing collateral and content on the company’s website remain current.
- Assist in maintaining brand templates and presentation tools.
- Organizes marketing assets, collateral, and working files on Atlas (MS SharePoint) and MS Teams.
- Supports event marketing collateral and booth design projects.
- Supports the Marketing Manager with event coordination and vendor management.
- Assist in competitive research to find web-based content and keyword gaps.
- Assist in developing sales collateral materials and tools aligned with defined goals and strategies, including writing, editing, and content graphic design.
- Assist in communicating and training on marketing initiatives as they impact the sales team or company-wide.
- Assist in developing, auditing, and curating content for use in collateral, sales proposals, RFI, and RFQs.
- Assist in promoting a consistent brand identity throughout the company’s internal channels, presentations, printed collateral, social media profiles, and online channels.
- Stays up-to-date on new trends and technologies in the marketing industry so they can be leveraged when relevant.
- Actively participates in cross-departmental project teams as needed.
- Researches and applies marketing best practices and identifies opportunities for continued professional development.
- Knowledge of B2B marketing, digital tools, and techniques.
- Experience with photo editing, graphic design, and layout using
Adobe Photoshop
– Illustrator is a plus.
- Excellent communication, written communication, and presentation-building skills. Proficiency in advanced layout and design skills using
MS PowerPoint
.
- Strong project and time management skills for
balancing multiple tasks, completing projects to spec, and meeting deadlines.

- Experience in proofreading and editing.

- Experience with SEO/SEM campaigns is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. A 2-year technical certification in graphic design (or similar) will be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience working in a collaborative team environment.
- B2B marketing experience preferred.
- Background in utility GIS data or system integration services is helpful.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams required.
- Understanding of video editing and hosting software – Camtasia, Vimeo, YouTube preferred.
- Microsoft SharePoint experience required.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop required, Adobe Stock required, (Adobe Illustrator a plus).
$50,000-$60,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
