Manufacturing Final Assembly Production Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Final Assembly Production Manager to lead and oversee the final assembly operations within our manufacturing facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills combined with technical expertise in manufacturing systems and supply chain management, contributing to the overall success of our production environment.

Duties

- Manage daily final assembly manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are met.

- Supervise and train manufacturing assembly and shipping staff in the best practices and safety protocols.

- Implement and maintain quality control standards throughout the production process.

- Coordinate with design and engineering teams to optimize product assembly and packaging

- Oversee inventory management and warehouse operations to ensure timely supply of materials.

- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and improve processes.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations management, quality control, and plant efficiency; analyze data to identify areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality assurance, and logistics to streamline operations and resolve production issues.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.

- Supervise, train, and develop staff within the assembly team, fostering a productive and motivated work environment.

- Maintain mechanical knowledge relevant to assembly processes to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements effectively.

Skills

- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing setting, with a focus on final assembly operations.

- Proven experience in a manufacturing management role or similar position.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in fabrication and assembly.

- Familiarity with assembly line processes and manufacturing facilities.

- Ability to operate forklifts and other power tools safely and efficiently.

- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and safety compliance.

- Experience with NetSuite and Microsoft Office

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
