Manual Lathe Operator Location: Odessa, TX Company: Permian Enterprises

Permian Enterprises is seeking experienced Manual Lathe Operators to join our team at our Odessa, Texas facility. This position is responsible for operating manual lathes to perform premium threading and other machining operations while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Salary

$24.00 – $32.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Overtime may be available based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate manual lathe machines to perform premium threading and related machining operations.

- Execute tubing threading and other shop machining jobs according to specifications.

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining.

- Follow established safety procedures and quality standards during all operations.

- Assist with machine lockout/tagout procedures when required.

- Perform routine machine maintenance such as checking cooling fluids and making minor machine adjustments.

- Update production and job status in internal tracking systems.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with shop safety standards.

Qualifications

- Experience operating manual lathe machines required.

- Experience with tubing threading and oilfield shop machiningpreferred.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced shop environment.
