Reporting to the Director, Compensation, Benefits and Retirement, you will be part of the Human Resources Department. You will ensure that pay practices are competitive, equitable, scalable, and compliant across the geographies in which Agnico Eagle operates. Partnering closely with HR leadership, local HR teams and business stakeholders, this role enables talent attraction, retention, and performance through governance, market-informed decision making, and ongoing analysis of internal equity, pay alignment, and external compensation trends.

- Design, model, and manage global salary structures, pay ranges, progression models, and equity allocation aligned with LTIP budgets ;

- Lead annual compensation cycles, including salary increases, progression, total compensation statements, and short‑ and long‑term incentive programs ;

- Ensure compensation programs are delivered within approved budgets and aligned with business objectives and people strategy ;

- Lead global job evaluation and job levelling frameworks, ensuring internal equity and competitive, data‑driven pay positioning across regions ;

- Ensure compliance with global and local compensation regulations, support internal and external audits, and manage compensation‑related risk;

- Monitor pay equity, gender pay gaps, and internal fairness across regions, supporting regulatory reporting requirements;

- Leverage compensation data, analytics, and market trends to inform decision‑making and continuously improve compensation programs, processes, and tools;

- Lead the design, configuration, and ongoing optimization of compensation systems and tools to support global compensation programs.

What You Need To Succeed

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field

- 7-10 years of experience in roles regarding compensation;

- Bilingual (English/French) or (English/Spanish) is considered an asset;

- CCP or GRP designation completed or in progress;

- Demonstrated progressive experience in compensation management and knowledge of laws and regulations governing compensation on a global scale;

- Strong interpersonal, time-management, collaboration, and communication skills to meet tight deadlines, manage and achieve competing priorities;

- Experience in managing and analyzing complex databases;

- Working knowledge of HRSoft, SAP and JDE;

- Project Management certification/experience is considered an asset;

- Experience in configuring compensation systems/tools;

- Mining experience is considered an asset.

Your Work Schedule

- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from our Toronto Head Office. A combination of in-person and teleworking.
