SCOPE:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of equipment, machinery, and the general upkeep of our facilities as well as customer sites. This position will require 50% travel to various locations.
SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES & DELIVERABLES
•Perform customer Site Visits throughout the states of Washington, Oregon and Idaho 2 times per location every year. These visits involve operating power washing and parking lot striping equipment. Cleaning parking areas and canopies and various items to be painted.
•Conduct routine maintenance on company owned equipment, properties and offices to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
•Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and other equipment problems to maintain production operations.
•Ensure that all equipment meets safety and performance standards, and that maintenance logs and records are accurately maintained.
•Take ownership of the preventative maintenance program, including coordinating and carrying out scheduled maintenance such as equipment cleaning, lubrication, and inspections.
•Identify and evaluate process improvements or upgrades that could increase efficiency, improve quality, or reduce costs.
•Handle tasks in a timely-professional manner.
•Stay up to date with industry best practices and technological advancements to ensure maximum efficiency and safety.
•Working directly with various cleaners and chemicals in a safe and responsible manner.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
•High school diploma or equivalent, with a technical certification, diploma, or apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
•Proven experience of at least 2 years in a maintenance role.
•Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
•Ability to learn basic construction skills such as framing, drywalling, trim work etc.
•Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to troubleshoot equipment failures.
•Good communication skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

•Both in outside weather conditions as well as in an office environment, including extreme heat and cold
•Regularly required to talk and hear
•Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
•Lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
•Vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
