Maintenance Technician Job Summary
Performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance to maintain complex systems. Installs, maintains, repairs and replaces building equipment, mechanical equipment, machines, electrical equipment, heating and cooling systems. Repairs structures and maintains the grounds of the establishment. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Maintenance Technician Education and/or Experience:
•High school diploma or GED. Certificate or an Associates degree in Electrical/Electronics (desirable). Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Solid math foundation.
•Licensed Electrician (desirable)
Compensation commensurate with education and/or experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician:
•Perform preventive maintenance and repair on machinery, building systems, and equipment using hand/power tools and diagnostic devices.
•Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues; read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
•Assemble, install, and maintain wiring, motors, pipe systems, electronic components, and production equipment.
•Inspect, clean, lubricate, align, and calibrate components to ensure optimal equipment performance and safety.
•Document maintenance activities and perform additional related tasks to support continuous facility operations.
Qualifications for Maintenance Technician:
•Proficient in reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams; strong understanding of the National Electric Code.
•Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
•Skilled in creating detailed work instructions for electrical/mechanical assemblies and maintenance procedures.
•Expertise in repairing, aligning, calibrating, inspecting, and testing a variety of systems and equipment.
•Computer literate with hands-on knowledge of maintenance tools, techniques, equipment, and materials.
