Maintenance Technician

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with Maintenance Manager and/or Facility Manager to establish a program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas.* Repair production equipment safely and as quickly as possible after a breakdown* Work on assigned projects* Fabricate and install new equipment* Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program* Troubleshoot equipment* Utilize safe work habits* Wear appropriate PPE* Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures* Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures* Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures* Other duties as assigned*

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent* Background in fabrication, mechanical and electrical repair with use of shop tools* Forklift license*

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work overtime and shift work as required* Standing up to 12 hours daily* Walking up to 12 hours daily* Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily* Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily* Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly* Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily* Travel less than 10%*
