SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
•Troubleshoot and repair equipment using manuals and specifications.
•Disassemble and replace worn or damaged parts and reassemble machinery.
•Prepare parts lists and assist with the relocation and installation of equipment.
•Conduct preventive maintenance and mount equipment according to specifications.
•Follow all safety and environmental policies during operations.
Requirements:
EHS REQUIREMENTS:
•Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company’s TRIR goals.
•Follow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company’s environmental performance goals.
•Complete, and actively participate in all the company’s Safety Skills training requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
•MIG welding experience is required.
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
•12 months of related repair and maintenance experience.
•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
•Capable of regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
•Basic proficiency with hand tools is preferred.
•Ability to obtain Forklift certification.
•Valid Driver's License and proficiency in English.
•Willingness to work overtime as required.
•Must successfully pass a drug test and background check as part of the hiring process.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
•Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time as the task dictates.
•Must be able to maneuver to all areas of a plant or warehouse.
•Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with occasional moving up to 100 pounds.
•Must be able to safely bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at area.
•Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand and mechanical tools.
•Must be able to safely mount and dismount from the back of a truck.
•Must be able to work at a fast pace.
•Must be able to tolerate changing priorities, and complete assignments despite frequent interruptions.
•Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
•Must have a valid Driver License
•Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work environment is typically considered within an ELS location during normal or extended business hours. Work environment is a manufacturing plant and warehouse containing equipment with moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
