Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for Equipment / Facilities Maintenance of production equipment and maintaining the facilities in a fully functional state. Operator follows written and verbal specifications by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Follow all safety requirements and learn new safety requirements as required.
•Completion of PM Program for the production equipment and facilities maintenance.
•Completion of Work Requests that are generated by other departments.
•Works from a computer to update PM’s and Work Request to stay current with ISO audits.
•Work at heights up to 35’ from an aerial lift.
•Working outside in the winter is required to maintain safe walkways.
•Completes safety training to stay current with EHS requirements.
•All work shall be done according to the priority standards.
•Drive company vehicle to make pick-ups of needed parts for the Maintenance Dept.
•Have the ability to be on call after general hours and weekends for emergency work.
•Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working area at all times.
•Additional duties as assigned.
•ACCOUNTABILITY: Works proficiently and accurately to control costs while maintaining high quality standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:

•Must be safety conscious, with an excellent safety record.
•Must have a valid Wisconsin Driver’s license with safe driving record and maintain insurance.
•Must have a well-rounded background in Facilities maintenance Electrical Installation, Plumbing, Carpentry and HAVC
•Must have a well-rounded background in Equipment maintenance Electrical troubleshooting, PM Maintenance, Improvements to stop reoccurring problems and ability to diagnose and fix items not seen before.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
•High School diploma, GED or equivalent, with basic reading and writing abilities. 2-4 years of experience in industrial maintenance preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
•Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
•Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
•Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving many variables in non-standard situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
•Basic internet software and word processing skills.
•Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge.
•Ability to work from a computer to compete all records needed for the PM system.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
•Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
•Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job as well as training and personal experience.
•Works independently and without direct supervision.
•Primary job functions require exercising independent judgment frequently.
•Can work independently and solo for many hours to complete work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
