Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment within our facilities. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Maintenance Technician will ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall functionality and safety of our facilities.
Duties
•
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
•
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers.
•
Conduct facilities maintenance tasks, including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.
•
Interpret schematics and blueprints to assist in repairs and installations.
•
Execute residential painting projects as needed to maintain aesthetic standards.
•
Utilize an ohmmeter and other tools to diagnose electrical issues.
•
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
•
Supervise maintenance staff or contractors during specific projects when required.
•
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Experience
•
Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
•
Familiarity with electrical systems, including the use of diagnostic tools like an ohmmeter.
•
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
•
Experience overseeing projects is a plus.
•
Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team.
