Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Tech will play a critical role in supporting the maintenance department in efficiently managing maintenance activities and ensuring smooth operations. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as attention to detail.

Responsibilities

- Assist in maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment repairs, and maintenance schedules.

- Coordinate with maintenance technicians and supervisors to prioritize and schedule repairs and maintenance tasks.

- Prepare regular reports on maintenance activities, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.

- Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and place orders as needed.

- Update and maintain equipment manuals and documentation.

- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean working environment by ensuring compliance with safety procedures and regulations.

- Provide administrative support to the maintenance department, such as data entry, filing, and scheduling

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.

- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in a maintenance or manufacturing environment.

- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management software.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.

- Bilingual in English and Spanish
