Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across a variety of systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced setting, contributing directly to the seamless functioning of our operations.

Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of plant maintenance tasks including plumbing, mechanical, welding, electrical, and instrumentation.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

- Install, repair, and maintain machinery and process operations equipment.

- Troubleshoot and dismantle machinery and replace defective components.

- Perform preventive maintenance: Grease bearings, replace filters and fluids, operate auxiliary pumps and fans, calibrate and document process monitoring equipment.

- Perform industrial plumbing: measuring, cutting, threading, and installing steel pipe. Occasional CPVC gluing.

- Rebuild valves, bearings, pumps, and other mechanical components.

- Weld and fabricate with plate and pipe.

- Troubleshoot electrical circuits.

- Calibrate meters and analyzers.

- Operate industrial vehicles such as forklifts.

- Provides maintenance information by answering questions and requests.

- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

- On-Call availability for emergencies and every other weekend.

Who are you as a Maintenance Technician?

- High school diploma, GED or equivalent / Technical School preferred

- One to three years’ Maintenance Experience

- Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment

- In-depth knowledge of system maintenance

- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment

- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Software

- Good interpersonal and time management skills along with attention to detail
