Maintenance Supervisor - Skyline Mine

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of equipment and processes by maximizing the effective utilization of the resources provided.

- Supervise and provide direction to hourly employees in continuous miner, longwall maintenance and/or utility work.

- Plans, organizes, schedules and coordinates with Shift Supervisor all maintenance and/or utility projects.

- Supervises all aspects of safe and efficient maintenance of equipment and processes.

- Implements and maintains compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

- Task training of personnel as required.

Preferred Education & Experience

- Minimum of five (5) years of underground coal mining maintenance experience

- Previous supervisory experience preferred

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Excellent communications skills both written and oral

- Excellent safety and attendance record

- Utah Mine Foreman Certification or ability to obtain

- MSHA Electrical Certification

- Willingness to work weekends
