Maintenance Operator

Overview:

This position is responsible for general maintenance on pumps, generators, and compressors, including testing on Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD) for pneumatic and electrical valves, as well as greasing wellheads. The role requires technical skills and knowledge to ensure the smooth operation of equipment in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities:

- Provide maintenance support for pumps, generators, and compressors.

- Develop mechanical aptitude to apply principles such as sound, heat conduction, velocity, gravity, friction, and pressure.

- Conduct tests on Emergency Shutdown Systems, including pneumatic and electrical valves.

- Repair equipment using cutters and threaders and troubleshoot issues.

- Perform general maintenance and repairs on various production-related equipment.

Qualifications:

- 1+ years of Oil & Gas Maintenance Operator experience; lease crew/roustabout experience preferred.

- Electrical maintenance background preferred.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

- Ability to work overtime and holidays as needed and be available for call-outs as required.

- Must meet all conditional job offer requirements, including background check, drug screening, MVR, agility, and fit for duty.

- Must maintain a clear driving record, maintain company vehicle, and abide by vehicle policies.
