Maintenance Mechanic - Minesite

Join a hardworking crew supporting one of Alaska’s most critical gold mines. We’re hiring skilled Maintenance Workers for a five week project starting January, 2026. Earn $28–$35/hour while working up to 72 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform welding, cutting, and repairs on tanks, structures, and plant process equipment as needed.

- Read and follow drawings to plan and execute next-phase tasks.

- Use various maintenance skills such as welding, concrete work, pump maintenance, HDPE and more.

- Follow jobsite safety procedures and help keep a clean, hazard-free work zone

- Assist with general labor and other jobsite duties as directed by site supervisors

Requirements:

- Proficiency with Stick and MIG welding techniques in an industrial environment; D1.1 certification is a plus.

- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments

- Must have a valid drivers license.

- Must pass a background check and drug screening (required for mine site access).

- Flexibility to work extended hours, shifts, and weekends as necessary.
