Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining processes and be proficient in operating various types of machinery. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Manual Machinist will be responsible for producing high-quality components while adhering to safety standards and operational protocols.
Duties
•Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, VTL, and other machining equipment.
•Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy.
•Assemble components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
•Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
•Use coordinate measuring machines for quality assurance checks.
•Operate power tools safely and effectively in the machining process.
•Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Experience
•Proven experience as a Manual Machinist
•Proficient in using basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
•Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
•Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
•A commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
