Full-time position

Summary: Growing and dynamic company is looking for full time Machinist for a demanding yet rewarding position. You must be highly competent, mechanically resourceful, detail-oriented and an exceptional communicator. Most of your work will be performed in a shop environment with a small percentage of your work requiring you to perform in the field. This position requires flexible work hours that require frequent overtime demands during our busy seasons. Most of our work is in places that contain large mechanical equipment such as power plants, refineries, Petro chemical plants, hospitals, and institutions of learning.

Duties and Responsibilities

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

Be able to lift 50 Lbs. Work at elevated heights with approved fall protection. Operate various equipment such as fork trucks and lifts as assigned and qualified. Participate in a random drug testing program.

Machinist Qualifications/Skills:

Ability to use an existing part or component to produce a like in kind out of raw material

Excellent coordination and Mechanical skills

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety

Solid written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Math.

Education and/or Experience:

Extensive experience with the use of manual lathe and milling machines.

Experience working with Mechanical Test Equipment and machine tools.

Formal training from an accredited school a plus but not mandatory.

Work ability: Must be able to work in the United States.

Compensation & Hours: $30 - $45 an hour based on experience and skills. We are only looking for full-time individuals. This is NOT a remote position.
