Logistics Specialist

The Logistics specialist assists with the duties of receiving parts and consumable goods, supplier scrap, the preparation of shipments, as well as inventory control.

We are looking for someone who is a US Persons, has proficient experience in a plant/warehouse environment performing shipping and receiving operation, is knowledge with shipping documentation and UPS/FEDEX processing, and has intermediate proficiency using Micro Soft Office Office Suite and other database programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Accurately document all information from incoming consumable goods and parts.

Load and unload trucks; verify with MM documentation and weigh all material from truck.

Accurately enter receiving information into the materials management system and create excel spreadsheets as needed.

Pulling and preparation of pick lists to be shipped to end refiners.

Prepare containers to be shipped to scrap suppliers at the request of the PMPD Buyers.

Check in and deliver the UPS and FedEx packages each day including opening and signing the packing list.

Clean assigned areas each day.

Assist with inventory control of departmental and factory supplies.

Pushing, pulling of drums and equipment which could weigh more than 100 lbs. Lifting up to 50 lbs., bending and stretching.

Drive the box truck to deliver material and parts as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse:

Place material/stock in and remove from warehouse locations

Perform Inventory counts as required

WORKING CONDITIONS

Schedule:  The employees assigned shift will be annotated in the ADP Payroll System. Employees may be required to work any shift, including evening, weekend or holiday shifts, as needed by the Company. Any modifications to the employee's schedule will be communicated by the Manager.  This is a full-time position, but some overtime work may be required.
