Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Position Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator manages and coordinates the daily logistical operations for all equipment deliveries to job sites. This role oversees operational dispatch functions and ensures timely, accurate, and efficient service. The Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in communicating with all departments in meeting customer demands, optimizing routing efficiency, and maximizing productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
•Schedule and dispatch equipment haulers, materials and delivery personnel in a safe and efficient manner while maximizing productivity
•Dispatching equipment to meet productivity needs
•Maintain dispatch operations to meet or exceed Riley Brothers compliance targets
•Manage material verification for each truck prior to delivery
•Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
•Demonstrate experience working in a fast-paced environment
•Communicate effectively with customers, sales, and management regarding logistical updates
•Maintain professional, courteous contact before, during, and after dispatch operations
•Instruct drivers in the event of logistical or customer service issues
•Confirm all details—including address, materials, and stocking conditions—before trucks leave the yard
•Report any concerns directly to the Director of Operations
•Adhere to company policies, DOT, and OSHA standards
•Perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately
•Be assertive and proactive when necessary
•Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
•Read maps quickly and provide directions accurately
•Demonstrate professional and effective telephone communication
•Adapt to changing schedules and operational demands
•Maintain strong organizational skills and a positive, solution-oriented attitude
•Follow instructions with minimal supervision
•Attend all required meetings related to deliveries and operations
•Uphold company values in safety, compliance, and production
•Perform additional duties as assigned
•Utilize strong computer and data entry skills

Experience and Education:
•Two or more years of experience in a related industry
•Strong organizational and project management skills
•Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Licensing and Certifications:
•Valid State of Residence Driver’s License (or ability to obtain within two weeks of employment)
•Must pass criminal background check, MVR check, and pre-employment drug screening
