PRINCIPAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Oversee and coordinate administrative support for the Operations and Maintenance departments, ensuring smooth day-to-day functionality.
•Responsible for onsite cost control and tracking activities, including data entry and invoice verification to ensure financial accuracy.
•Assist in managing the camp’s budget, ensuring all expenditures remain within allocated limits. Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and records.
•Track and maintain inventories of camp supplies and equipment, ensuring timely procurement, delivery, and distribution to support daily operations.
•Coordinate site logistics, including camp accommodations and any ad hoc travel needs. Interface with camp staff to manage room bookings and address issues as they arise.
•Support the ESG group with their reporting and disclosure processes and support tracking of ESG performance metrics and trends.
•Work closely with catering teams to ensure high-quality meal service and accommodation of dietary restrictions. Maintain daily meal schedules and uphold quality control standards.
•Ensure that camp facilities—including accommodations, kitchens, dining areas, and recreational spaces—are maintained in good working order. Oversee cleanliness and maintenance schedules.
•Prepare digital materials for presentations and reports as needed. Maintain organized documentation to support reporting and decision-making.
•Coordinate daily operational tasks such as scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, managing the vehicle fleet, and booking facilities as required.
•Ensure that all visitors and contractors are properly signed in, receive safety orientations, and are accommodated appropriately during their stay.
•Respond to concerns or complaints from camp residents or staff in a timely and professional manner, promoting a positive and respectful camp environment.
•Demonstrate a strong commitment to best practices in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management. Ensure compliance with emergency protocols and safety standards at all times.
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
•Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial facility environment an asset, exposure to a range of administrative duties required.
•High school graduate, diploma in a related field is considered an asset.
•Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with experience using CMMS and other business software applications.
•Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, effective communication skills, and a positive attitude.
•Valid Class 5 Operator’s License, or equivalent.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The remote location of the facility requires camp based accommodations working a 10x10 rotating schedule, 12-hours per shift (including weekends and holidays). The facility is located approximately 35km North/West of Wandering River, AB. and 240kms NE of Edmonton, AB.
