Position Overview:

Sprung Services is seeking a qualified Local Travel Boiler Operator to join our team. This is a full-time, day-shift position primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend coverage as needed. The role offers competitive hourly pay, a company vehicle, and a flexible schedule.

Schedule & Pay:

Monday through Friday, day shift

Occasional weekend coverage

Pay range: $38–$41 per hour

Full-time position

Company vehicle provided

Candidates must hold one of the following Minnesota boiler licenses:

1B

1A

Chief B

Chief A

Job Responsibilities:

Follow an assigned route to inspect and service boilers at multiple locations

Complete boiler logs at each site

Check and maintain proper water chemistry

Perform small repairs and routine maintenance

Perform make-readies

Communicate findings and issues to management

Complete other duties as assigned by a manager

Pay Structure:

This position is paid based on scheduled checks. If a boiler check is scheduled and billed for two hours, you are paid for the full two hours, even if the work is completed in less time.

Flexibility:

This role offers a high level of flexibility. Most boiler checks can be completed at any time during the day, allowing employees to attend personal appointments without needing to take time off.

Qualifications:

Valid Minnesota boiler license (required)

Strong knowledge of boiler operation and maintenance

Ability to work independently

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Strong communication and organizational skills
