Light Weight Framer 2nd shift

Responsible for assisting in the construction of walls according to VFP guidelines in an efficient and timely manner. Ability to perform job tasks with little to no supervision.

- Assist in construction of walls/partition walls sections according to blueprints

- Read tape measure

- Use of hand tools/power tools (nail guns, routers, and drills), saws, and ladders

- Lift/carry plywood sheets as needed

- Building frames and close mods for shipment

- Hang HVACS on shelters (when needed)

- Installing roof membrane, and metal roofs

- Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices

- Prepare daily production sheets using accurate job numbers and production codes

- Perform other jobs as assigned

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) desired

Experience

Two (2) years of carpentry experience

Certificates, Licenses or Registrations

Knowledge/Skills

Ability to read and interpret simple correspondence and practical problems

Basic knowledge of mathematical formulas
