Job Description Summary

Responsible for resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.

The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

Main Responsibilities

- Bachelor degree preferably in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or Technical degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering with a combination of work experience or equivalent

- 5 years of experience in field service in a high voltage environment

- Proven extensive customer service

- Strong knowledge on GIS equipment and solutions

- Certified to work on GE GIS gear will be an asset

- European certification for handling SF6 gas will be an asset

- 5 years of experience in erection and commissioning of GIS switchgear

- 5 years of experience in maintenance of GIS substation

- Fluent in French and English, other languages are an asset

Required Qualifications
