Crystal Finishing Systems, located in the heart of snowy Mosinee, WI, has an exciting opportunity in our Fabrication Department for a 2nd Shift Fabrication Lead. This Monday–Friday 2pm-10pm role is a key part of keeping our operations running smoothly—no matter how chilly it gets outside.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As a Fabrication Lead, you’ll help keep our department running as smoothly as freshly fallen snow:

- Evaluate workflow and maintain communication with the Supervisor and Department Manager to address any quality concerns.

- Assist employees with questions, referring more complex issues to the Supervisor when needed.

- Ensure proper quality checks, documentation, and machine setup are completed accurately.

- Conduct first‑piece inspections and operate machinery when Lead responsibilities are lighter.

- Train new team members and coach current employees to strengthen skills and performance.

- Recommend improvements for policies, processes, quality, and cost efficiency.

WHO YOU ARE

- Combination of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in leadership and participation or completion of leadership program.

- Previous set up and machine operating experience beneficial

- Knowledge of fabrication processing

- Experience reading blueprints and parts drawings
