Lab Technician

Employer Partner Introduction: Soelect Inc. is a fast-growing, multi-patented clean technology startup located in Greensboro, NC. Soelect has developed an advanced lithium metal composite anode that, when combined with a solid-state or liquid electrolyte, significantly increases energy density, power and safety while also lowering manufacturing costs through our patented material design and proprietary processes.

Position Brief:

- Lab Technician/R&D.

- Work Location: 4355 Federal Drive, Suite140, Greensboro, NC 27410 (No public transportation)

- Work Hours: 24hrs per week/ 8 hours per day / On-site/ Tue – Thursday

- ·Apprentice Wage rate is between $17 / hourly, based on experience

- This is a temporary contract position during the Apprenticeship Program Period.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

- Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.

- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in both oral and written form.

- Basic math (high school level) skillset is required.

- Keyboard Typing speed minimum of 60wpm.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing chemical solutions, samples, and reagents.

- Support lab testing procedures under supervision.

- Record data and maintain accurate lab logs and documentation.

- Clean and sterilize lab equipment and workspaces.

- Follow all health, safety, and quality protocols.

- Label and organize samples for analysis.

- Assist in inventory management of lab supplies.

- Learn to use lab instruments and software.
