1. Titrating of all types of incoming samples from fuel farm: TBN= total base number, and AV numbers, calculate fuel blend and make plans for correction of fuels if out of specification.
3. Maintains 6 months report for later reference.
4. Works on lab reactions done with all new incoming raw materials.
5. Blends titration with Karl Fisher to check amount of emulsion to ANFO being loaded into holes in pit.
6. Pale Oil Analysis: Runs oil viscosity to check oil thickness.
7. Make emulsions in the lab for baseline testing.
8. Runs some baseline test such as paint shakers and freeze thaw testing to qualify test emulsions or new products we might be working on.
9. Does some microsphere or bubble testing. Tests for density of bubbles.
10. Records and properly places hazardous chemicals used daily to be sent to waste facilities.
12. Lab cleaning, stripping floors and cleaning counters.
13. Filling in for other departments, such as bag running.
17. Making sure lab is supplied with towels, detergents and other cleaning agents.
19. Quality control on all PowerNel production runs.
20. Make large scale gasser compounds and test for accuracy
1. Crossed trained on every piece of equipment in the lab.
- High School Graduate (or equivalent)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory software
- Strong report writing skills.
