Lab Technician

This job requires the employee to collect samples, run various test on wastewater, fill out logs, and all other aspects of the day to day operations of a wastewater lab.

Technical skills: Proficiency with laboratory instruments, including spectrophotometers, pH meters, and DO meters.

Attention to detail: Precision is crucial for maintaining quality control and ensuring the accuracy of test results and reports.

Analytical and problem -solving skills: The ability to interpret test results and troubleshoot issues.

Communication: Effective written and verbal communication is necessary for logging results, preparing reports, and working with operators and supervisors.

Safety practices: In-depth knowledge of laboratory safety protocols. including the safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals.

Computer proficiency: Competency with computer software, especially spreadsheets and word processing programs like MS Excel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
