The Jr. Graphic Designer is a vital member of the Digital Design & Creative team, working closely with the Digital Design & Creative Lead to deliver high-impact visual assets across digital and print channels. This role is hands-on, collaborative, and focused on supporting creative initiatives with a special emphasis on photo editing, colour correction, and post-production work. The Jr. Graphic Designer will work in-office two days per week, contributing directly to the team’s creative output and brand excellence.
- Collaborate with the Digital Design & Creative Lead and broader creative team to execute design projects for web, social media, email campaigns, and print.
- Take ownership of photo editing, colour correction, and post-production for product, campaign, and brand photography.
- Prepare and optimize images and graphics for digital and print distribution, ensuring technical accuracy and brand consistency.
- Support in the creation and maintenance of brand assets, including updating visual content and organizing digital asset libraries.
- Participate actively in creative discussions, providing input and accepting feedback to refine deliverables.
- Assist with layout design, file preparation, and production tasks as needed.
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices, especially in photo editing and digital imaging.
- Help maintain shared folders and creative asset organization systems.
- Pursuing or completed a degree/certificate in graphic design, photography, digital media, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in graphic design or photo editing (internships or freelance work acceptable).- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator); familiarity with Figma is a plus.
- Demonstrated skills in photo editing, colour correction, and post-production for digital and print.
- Strong attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a part-time, in-office schedule.
