Senior Designer

Responsibilities

- Create detailed designs and engineering drawings for boiler pressure parts and associated components using CAD software.

- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design specifications meet customer requirements and safety standards.

- Conduct analysis and simulations to validate design concepts before production.

- Review and modify existing designs to improve performance and efficiency.

- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior designers and CAD technicians.

- Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design processes.

- Assist in the development and implementation of design standards and best practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the boiler or pressure vessel industry.

- Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools).

- Solid understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the capability to think critically about design challenges.

- Strong communication skills and experience working in a team-oriented environment.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.
