The IT Technical Specialist is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems within our organization. Will ensure the efficient operation of IT systems and provide technical support to users. This role also includes maintaining company networks, and implementing technology strategies.
· Set up new computer systems, install software applications, and configure network settings.
· Provide support to users experiencing technical issues with hardware or software. This includes remote assistance, phone support or in-person troubleshooting.
· Perform regular maintenance on IT systems, including updating software, running diagnostics, and ensuring security measures are up to date.
· Monitor and manage network systems to ensure they are running efficiently. This includes setting up and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
· Ensure data backups are performed regularly and data recovery processes are in place.
· Strategize and execute IT projects with the support of the IT team.
· An associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field.
· Previous experience in IT support or technician role is preferred.
· Strong understanding of computer hardware, software and network systems.
· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
· Work well with others within the IT team.
· This position requires regular office work and occasional on-site visits to other Tally locations.
· The physical demands described here are representative of the requirements that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. These may include sitting for extended periods, using computer equipment, and lifting or moving IT equipment.
