Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation (DGOC) is an established owner and operator of producing conventional and unconventional natural gas & oil wells and midstream pipelines and compression stations concentrated in the Appalachian Basin in the United States. Headquartered in Birmingham, AL, our field operations are located throughout the Appalachian Basin in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. In 2021, Diversified announced our expansion into our Central Regional Focus Area, which includes producing areas within Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The IT Specialist role requires strong technical, collaborative, and project management skills. They will be responsible for coordinating initiatives across departments and influencing stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes. While also responsible for administering and managing Microsoft 365 and Azure services, including but not limited to SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Document Intelligence. Additionally, the IT Specialist will play a critical role in discovering opportunities for Business Process Automation and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.
Technical Support & IT Operations
- Provide end-user support and training on Microsoft 365 applications.
- Monitor system and process performance providing proactive solutions
- Ensure proper documentation and knowledge-sharing of IT procedures.
- Travel to field sites to provide onsite end-user support, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure smooth operation of IT systems.
- Maintain, track, and manage device inventory across field sites to support operational readiness.
- Manage and support SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams environments.
- Collaborate to ensure security, compliance, and governance within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Configure and optimize collaboration tools to improve workflow efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft 365-related technical issues.
- Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with company objectives.
- Work cross-functionally to align IT initiatives with departmental needs.
- Translate business process into technology solutions for automations
- Build rapport with teams across the organization- 3+ years of Microsoft 365 administration experience required - 3+ years of project management experience a plus
- Outstanding organizational skills with good written and verbal skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to provide after-hours support when required.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
- Familiarity with automation tools and applications.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Must be able to move or traverse from one location on the job site to another. This includes the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, frequently positioning oneself (e.g., to stoop, kneel, or squat) to perform tasks, and occasionally ascend/descend (e.g., ladders or uneven terrain)
- Ability to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and assess driving operations effectively (either naturally or with corrective lenses).
- Ability to operate a 4X4 vehicle.
- Must be able to repetitively move or position feet, shoulders, arms, wrists, and back. Constantly operates, uses, and positions hands and fingers in performance of work
- Must be able to work atop elevated surfaces and traverse various heights
- Lifts or carries 70 lbs. or more, which falls into the "heavy" category (over 50 pounds).
- Frequently pushes and pulls with a maximum force of 150 ft./lbs.
- Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions and is exposed to varying environmental conditions, including well site conditions. The position requires the ability to perform tasks in physically demanding environments, encompassing the essential physical requirements and efforts outline

Driver Requirements:- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
- This position involves operating a company vehicle for work-related travel or receiving a stipend for operating a personal vehicle for company use; adherence to all traffic laws and company vehicle policies is required.
