Job Summary:

The IT Allegro Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting the Allegro Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system. This role involves ensuring the stability, efficiency, and scalability of the Allegro system, as well as providing technical support and enhancements to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

•

System Management: Oversee the Allegro system, ensuring its stability and performance. Manage upgrades, migrations, and integrations with other systems.

•

Technical Support: Provide timely and efficient support to users, resolving issues related to the Allegro system. Investigate and respond to automation errors and user requests.

•

Development and Customization: Develop and customize Allegro functionalities to meet business requirements. Work on coding, database management, and system configurations.

•

Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure the Allegro system meets business needs. Engage in business processes, requirements gathering, and system impact analysis.

•

Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, customizations, and support activities. Ensure all changes are well-documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

•

Experience: 10-15 years of experience in IT, with a focus on Energy Trading and Risk Management systems such as Allegro.

•

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Visual Studio, C#.NET, SSRS, SQL, IIS Management and Configuration, or ASP.NET.

•

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

•

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

•

Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

•

Advanced Skills: Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and familiarity with data processing and analysis tools.

•

Project Management: Experience in managing IT projects, particularly those involving system upgrades and migrations.
