Position Title: IS Manager
Location: Green River, WY
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for identifying needs in the field of information systems (including SAP), planning and managing projects, and providing ongoing support for all functions and information systems.
- SAP experience is a must.
- SD, PP, PM, QM knowledge and experience are preferred.
- Act as business partner to relevant departments or management levels
- Identify IT projects that will improve efficiency and profitability
- Analyze business processes and needs
- Manage roadmaps with departments for areas open to improvement
- Prepare and manage budgets, perform cost-benefit analysis, and prioritize projects
- Oversee procurement, form teams, analyze, select, and teach required technologies
- Manage functional teams, consultants, suppliers
- Ensure project requirements are met within expected time, budget, and quality
- Maintain communication with management to coordinate projects
- Provide training and support for implemented business applications
- Develop, support and improve procedures
- Drive and support the decision-making process for technology selection in alignment with business strategies.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to support their processes and develop a common vision.
- Create business cases out of issues, needs, and opportunities
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Must have process knowledge and experience
- Experienced in operations HSE, sustainability, Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS),mining systems and quality processes are plus
- Experience in sales,marketing,logistics and purchasing operations
- Non-SAP projects experience is a plus
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the field
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Project management experience is required
- Requires both individual work and team management skills (teams may be direct, indirect, or temporary)
- Self-starter with critical thinking skills. Ability to problem solve and communicate findings to colleagues and management
- Experience as an IS/Applications/Project Manager or similar role
- Knowledge and experience in technologies and applications used in the field supply chain/operations
- Must be competent in both technical and process knowledge
