The Inventory Pricing Specialist is responsible for accurately processing inventory and pricing changes in the software system. This position also offers assistance to customer service as the primary point of contact, answering phones and assisting customers as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES BY COMPETENCY: (denotes an essential function of the position)*
- Monitor specific inventory discrepancies to ensure efficient ordering practices.
- Receive products and record changes in pricing efficiently in order to provide accurate orders to customers.
- Develop and maintain efficient systems for office supplies and services. - Maintain regular attendance and follow designated safety practices.
- Ensure effective communication with customers, suppliers, and vendors.
Ensure effective communication is executed with field employees.
- Ensure professional image in all internal and external correspondence.
- Provide information to management on pricing discrepancies and inventory issues.
- Present a friendly and positive attitude to both internal and external customers.
Handle customer contacts in a professional and efficient manner.
Promptly respond to all customer inquiries and follow through to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist all lube locations on pricing questions and issues and responds in a timely and accurate manner.
- Accurately and professionally take and input customer orders.
- Ability to respond to products, service, and technical inquiries.
Challenge oneself to further develop skills that relates to the position.
- Provide guidance to the other lube locations in regards to inventory issues and pricing matters.
- Provide guidance to other lube locations in purchasing transactions.
Challenge oneself to gain knowledge of other positions within the office.
Work at developing a better understanding of MAS and its capabilities.
- Responsible for accurately processing inventory and pricing changes as necessary.
Provide support to the office team to execute major price increases.
Understand Company phone system and ensure customer needs are attended to in a prompt and professional manner.
Possess knowledge of office administration procedures, product and service offerings, and cash receipt postings.
- Maintain buy back price codes and pricing.
- Adhere to all Wallis Companies safety policies and report all safety incidents to supervisor immediately.

Education: *Required: Equivalent to high school diploma
Experience: *Over 1 year up to and including 3 years in administrative role

Skills and Abilities: Requires an intensive knowledge of a specialty field and the use a wide range of procedures. Must be proficient with a computer and Microsoft Office.
